Why Responsibility Starts to Feel Heavier Than It Should

A 90-Minute Live Virtual Workshop

Sometimes the issue isn’t motivation, it’s load.

There are seasons when what you’re carrying quietly increases: responsibilities, expectations, emotional commitments, invisible obligations.

And instead of asking what changed, most of us assume we need to try harder.

Why Responsibility Feels Heavier Than It Should examines the emotional and cognitive load people carry when responsibility becomes fused with identity, approval, or fear of failure. Participants will learn how over-responsibility develops, how it shows up in leadership, relationships, and decision-making, and how to distinguish healthy ownership from self-abandonment.

The session introduces practical tools for recognizing internal pressure, setting operational boundaries, and responding with clarity rather than reflexive obligation.

We’ll explore:
The difference between responsibility and over-responsibility
• How invisible expectations add weight
• What changes when you adjust load instead of effort

Through guided reflection and small group conversation, you’ll identify one area where responsibility feels particularly heavy, and clarify what adjustment would reduce unnecessary strain.

You won’t be told what to do.

You won’t be expected to fix anything.

You’ll leave feeling clearer about what you’re actually carrying and what may no longer be yours to hold.

Live only. No replay.

Limited to 18 participants.
